PURITY…
I have stared at this word on the mirror in my bathroom for a while now and although it was written there for another reason (see my testimony page), the Lord has been speaking to me about the Church preparing itself as the spotless (pure) bride awaiting HIS RETURN. (Ephesians 5:27)
Christ is coming back for a spotless bride without blemish.
Are you ready? Am I?
Am I living my life in such a way that my thoughts, heart, mind, motives remain pure and that I am ready if Christ were to return today? Are you?
Christ is calling us all to lead a life of purity, regardless of our walk with Him, regardless of your age or times you have failed in the past. Your past is covered under His blood along with all shame, guilt or condemnation. Christ is concerned with your future and where you will spend it.
The Scripture in Matthew 7:14 reads "straight is the gate and narrow is the way which leads unto life and few there be that find it." This Scripture has been heavy on my heart and combined with Matthew 25:1-13 is where this ministry and business has been birthed from. My passion and calling is to help prepare the Church for Christ's return.
In Matthew 7:14, Jesus is telling us that the path to Heaven is a straight road, though narrow, yet few find it. How can this be?
The road is not a curvy path like that of a maze, where it is hard to find your way through it, but total opposite. The path is a straight shot and yet few can find it. Maybe only few find it, because their living their lives like the five virgins in Matthew 25:1-13. I think they started out walking the straight and narrow, but allowed the world and things of the world to slowly pull them off the path, until they found themselves completely off track and by then it was too late for the Bridegroom had come. They were left off track and completely unprepared.
In Matthew 25 there were ten virgins who took their lamps and went to meet the Bridegroom. Of the ten, five were foolish and took no oil for their lamps, while the other five were wise enough to take extra oil along for their journey. When the Bridegroom came, all ten virgins arose, but only five were prepared for Him. The five that were not prepared stood at the door calling out for the Bridegroom (Jesus) to open the door, but He called back " I do not know you". (Matthew 25:12) Because they were unprepared for His return, they were left behind.
We can not be like these five virgins who were unprepared, but yet learn from them and stay awake and alert and always be prepared. "For we know not the day or the hour of His return." (Matthew 25:13)
I ask that you examine your heart. Are you ready if Christ was to return today? If not, please see the section "Feeling God tugging at your heart".
The t-shirts were designed after the Lord had given me a vision of the t-shirt and were created in prayer that it would be a constant reminder to me and everyone who wears them to examine our lives and to always, always be ready. Also, with the hopes that others would see it and after learning the meaning behind it, would examine their hearts and live their lives in purity, awaiting the Bridegroom's return.
My vision and prayer is that we help spread the message of purity, Christ and His love for us and to prepare the Church for His return.
